Nestled in a quiet and tranquil corner of a charming courtyard garden, just 150 yards from the banks of the River Coquet, the cottage is the perfect hideaway for up to three guests – ideal for couples, small families, or solo travellers and friends looking for a relaxing, peaceful base. With stylish interiors, thoughtful touches, and a serene atmosphere, it’s a place where you’ll instantly feel at home.

Stepping inside, the beautiful cottage lounge boasts a traditional sandstone inglenook fireplace with a charming electric log-effect stove, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Settle in with a film or series on the flat-screen Smart TV with Freeview and complimentary Netflix. Two large windows fill the room with natural light, offering lovely views of the flower-filled front courtyard garden and the private rear yard garden.

From the lounge, you enter the spacious dining kitchen, fully equipped for a perfect self-catering stay. It features white worktops, a dining table with three chairs, and all the appliances you need including a washing machine, slimline dishwasher, full-size fridge and freezer, microwave, electric oven, and gas hob – ideal for everything from lazy breakfasts to delicious home-cooked dinners.

You’ll stay connected with free unlimited WiFi throughout the cottage, and for added convenience, a comprehensive house manual and local area guide are provided to help you settle in and explore with ease.

On the ground floor, a handy vestibule provides space for storing coats and shoes, while a staircase with banister leads you to the inviting, carpeted upstairs bedrooms, with a calming colour palette throughout. Every corner is designed with comfort in mind.

The courtyard is a real sun trap on warm days, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the courtyard garden.

Private Rear Garden

To the rear of the cottage, you’ll find a small yard, thoughtfully planted with pots and furnished with a comfortable outdoor armchairs and coffee table. It’s a calm, private space – great for reading, chatting, or enjoying a glass of wine as the day winds down. Simple, welcoming, and just right for enjoying a slower pace during your stay.
